Tuesday was a grey and rainy day, so Scott, Nonni, Grandma Julie, Juliana and I headed out for some sightseeing. We drove to Roanoke to visit the National Park for the “Lost Civilization of Roanoke”. While we were walking though the museum, Juliana saw pictures depicting the elaborate dresses worn by women of that time and yelled – “It’s Cinderella” – which sent a ripple of laughter through those in the room.
Then we headed back North and stopped for lunch (after stopping for salt water taffy). After lunch we went to the Wright Brother’s Memorial. We walked through the exhibit and then headed outside to the area of the first flight. Scott took Juliana for a flight along the path.
