Hip and Lip

Juliana has offered few details about what they do at school and most of what I hear is out of context so it doesn’t make much sense. When she told me that they had been practicing “hip and lip” I needed to know more. She explained it is how they walk through the hallways at school and they practiced walking around the room first. And then she demonstrated. “One hand goes on your hips – this is to remind you to keep your hands to yourself. And the other hand goes on your lips – this is to remind you that there is no talking in the hall.” The hand on the hip is perfect for her sassy walk so it’s not surprising she is a fan of hip and lip. I would love a picture of her class walking through the school like this.
